Cancellation & Refund Policy
Last updated: 1 March 2026
1. Booking & Payment
Elsewhere Collective retreats are intentionally intimate and limited in capacity. Each confirmed booking reserves a dedicated space within a carefully curated container.
- A non-refundable deposit of 50% is required to hold your participation.
- The remaining balance 50% must be paid in full no later than 21 days prior to the retreat start date.
Your space is confirmed only upon receipt of full payment. All payments made toward an Elsewhere Collective retreat are non-refundable.
2. Participant Cancellation & Transfer Policy
We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise. However, due to advance commitments to venues, partners, and limited group size, payments cannot be refunded.
If you are unable to attend:
- Your full payment may be transferred to a future Elsewhere Collective retreat within 12 months of the original retreat date, subject to availability.
- Transfer requests must be made in writing at least 21 days prior to the retreat start date.
- Transfers are permitted one time.
No credits or transfers will be issued for:
- No-shows
- Late arrivals
- Early departures
- Unused services
We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance to protect against unforeseen personal circumstances.
3. Retreat Cancellation or Rescheduling by Elsewhere Collective
Elsewhere Collective reserves the right to reschedule or relocate a retreat if required for operational, safety, or minimum participation reasons.
In such cases:
- Participants will be offered a transfer to a future retreat date.
- Elsewhere Collective is not responsible for any travel expenses, airline penalties, visa costs, or other personal arrangements made by participants.
4. Force Majeure
Elsewhere Collective shall not be held liable for any delay, modification, or cancellation arising from circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, extreme weather events, pandemics, government restrictions, travel bans, civil unrest, venue closures, transportation disruptions, or any unforeseen event rendering the retreat unsafe, unlawful, or impracticable to conduct.
In the event of such circumstances:
- Payments will be transferred as credit toward a future retreat, valid for up to 12 months from the original retreat date.
- No monetary refunds shall be issued.
5. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising in connection with participation in an Elsewhere Collective retreat shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Mumbai, Maharashtra.
