Bharati K Jaisingh
Expressive Arts Therapy Practitioner & Founder, IDHA
Bharati Jaisingh does not simply facilitate spaces. She composes them. An Expressive Arts Therapy Practitioner and founder of IDHA, Bharati brings over seven years of experience in crafting inclusive, art-centered spaces where creativity becomes both compass and companion.
Her work is grounded in expressive arts therapy and informed by a sensitive understanding of how life experiences shape the nervous system, relationships, and sense of self. With a deeply neuro-affirming lens, she supports individuals across life stages in navigating emotional regulation, identity, and growth.
In her presence, art is not performance. It is permission. Movement becomes language. Colour becomes courage. Silence becomes soil where insight quietly takes root.
Through IDHA, she is devoted to expanding access to arts-based mental health practices and cultivating spaces where creativity becomes a pathway to healing, empowerment, and meaningful change.
Her Approach
Art as Compass. Creativity as Companion.
Art as Permission, Not Performance
In Bharati's sessions, art is never about skill or output. It is an invitation — to feel, to explore, and to meet yourself without judgement. Colour becomes courage. Silence becomes soil.
Composing Spaces with Care
Bharati doesn't simply set up a program. She designs an entire container — one where safety, creativity, and genuine presence can unfold at each person's own pace.
A Neuro-affirming Lens
Her work is informed by a deep understanding of how life experiences shape the nervous system. She honours individual pacing, autonomy, and dignity in every session she holds.
Somatic & Relational Wisdom
Bharati weaves together expressive arts, somatic awareness, movement, and relational safety — helping people reconnect with their bodies, creativity, and inner resilience.
During the Retreat
Sessions Bharati Facilitates
Expressive Arts Sessions
Using colour, texture, movement, and form as mirrors for inner experience — no artistic skill required, only willingness.
Somatic Awareness & Movement
Intuitive, unscripted movement that invites you back into your body's natural intelligence — without mirrors, without judgement.
Emotional Regulation Practices
Gentle, arts-based processes that support you in noticing, naming, and moving through what you carry.
The Art of Simply Being
The thread woven through every day. Not a session, really — more of a permission. To exist, without agenda or output.
“This retreat is not something you simply attend. It is something you step into — and carry with you long after it ends.”
